Itinerary
Day 1 :
DHAKA
Arrive Dhaka Airport, On arrival meeting and transfer to hotel. After refreshment start for Dhaka city sightseeing. Sadarghat waterfront, the Ahsan Manjil (Pink Palace). After visiting the Star Mosque and Dhakeswari Temple, enjoy lunch in a Bangladeshi restaurant. Then visit New Market, the National Museum and Parliament building.
Founded in 1608 as the seat of the imperial Mughal viceroys of Bengal. Known to the world for centuries for its fine silk and Muslin. As the capital of Bangladesh it has grown into a busy city of trades, business, cultural and sport activities. Having a happy blending of the old and new architectural trends, Dhaka has been developing fast as a modern city since the independence of Bangladesh in 1971 Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 :
DHAKA - SONARGOAN-MAINAMOTI
After early breakfast leave Dhaka for Mainamoti by reserved a/c private car or tourist coach around 140 km. The drive is approximately 3-hours. On the way visit the archaeological sites at Sonargoan, the ancient capital of Bengal, after Sonargoan have lunch in a highway restaurant and visit another site Mainamoti, the ruined city and Buddhist monastery which dates back over 1,000 years.. In Evening return Dhaka, have dinner.
Day 3 :
DHAKA-SAVAR- DEPARTURE ABROAD
After early breakfast start visit National Martyrs Memorial is situated in Nabinagar, Savar approximately 35 km from Dhaka. The memorial designed by architect Moinul Hossain is dedicated to the sacred memory of the millions of unknown martyrs of the war of liberation. This Martyrs Memorial is a symbol of Bengali nationalism. It is really a scenic beauty of 108 acre of land. The top of this monument is 150 ft. high, which consists other 07 triangular monuments. Its open 07 days a week besides this monument, have lunch in Parjatan restaurant opposite of memorial gate. If time permit will visit market in Dhaka for shopping before reach Airport.
